[ It's hard to know what that really means, or if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but Reggie decides to let it go with a slight slackening of his shoulders. If he had to hazard a guess he might assume it's something to do with being more comfortable with all the outside casual sex, or with sharing, with loving more than one person, and frankly--
It's just better if he lets it go.
He sighs a little, kissing Nick back slowly and sliding fingers into his hair. ]
[ Reggie kisses him again, then again, almost like he didn't hear Nick say his name. Each kiss is deep and yearning, a little slower than normal, one hand stroking up Nick's neck while the other strokes his thigh. ]
Ronnie doesn't know about you yet.
[ It's not the same thing, not quite, but he feels like now is the time to mention it. ]
She knows I'm seeing somebody, but I didn't know how to tell her either.
Reggie's eyebrows raise as he nods his head slowly, then pulls Nick's head closer to kiss him again, biting at his lips a little playfully. His other hand slides around to rest on Nick's hip, squeezing it. ]
I hear you, Nick. Loud and clear.
[ Although now he isn't sure if he should mention his dream about her-- or about the threesome with Archie a couple weeks back, given this tension, even if Reggie and Veronica are nothing but friends anymore but the same cannot be said for Sabrina and Nick.
Reggie likes it too, though, seeing Nick get a little possessive. ]
[He gives him another kiss, and he knows that this is complicated, and he knows that it's also deeply and tragically unfair. He can't do this. He can't just fucking dictate this sort of thing, especially when Sabrina is right there, a handspan away.
[He turns a little, and looks over at Reggie, at Reggie's face, a little confused and just a little bit unsure. His weight remains solidly on his feet, though; he doesn't move away.]
[ Reggie's a little confused too, and unsure, because the tension that's settled between them again is both familiar by now and yet still persistently unsolvable; there's a lack of definition that makes moving completely past it an impossibility, at least for now, but Reggie isn't sure if there will ever be an answer. ]
I'll just take a beer if we have any. Or maybe a shot or two of something.
[ Brows knitting for a moment, Reggie seems to contemplate that answer for a few seconds before he sips from his beer again, nodding slowly and tugging Nick onto his lap.
With a tempered exhale, he rests his chin on Nick's shoulder. ]
Veronica's not even a threat-- she doesn't like, want me back or anything. I've told you that.
But he crawls into his lap. He's comfortable here; for all that Reggie is bigger than him, and he's been smaller than the other boys all his life. He's always managed to be on top, though, prime material for Top Boy.
[ Reggie likely had an idea that Nick probably meant telling them about each other, and of course he agrees; his hesitance about telling Ronnie, or really any of the people who also know him from home (they know by now, but not thanks to him being particularly frank about it), is a complicated and uneasy feeling, one he isn't sure he's ready to address head on, but it's countered by the idea of Nick and Sabrina being together without Nick telling her.
He just would rather put a pin in the discussion for now, for this moment. He doesn't want to feel angry or sad, or frustrated, stress about what's reasonable to want or ask for or compromise, he just wants to hold Nick until they forget all this and save it for later.
It's probably not possible, but he still wraps his arms around Nick firmly. ]
[ Reggie shakes his head. That's part of the problem, but certainly not all of it. ]
Nothing like, bad, or that's gonna make a difference, probably, but... [ He exhales, and shrugs. ] I also don't want her thinking she like, turned me gay or something.
[ That's mostly a joke, because he really doesn't know how to explain why it still doesn't feel easy to tell people from home -- or in general, but especially people from home -- to someone who seems like sexuality has always been a non-issue.
(Though he doesn't want Veronica thinking he's gay, either.) ]
[ Reggie grins a little too, carding fingers gently through Nick's hair before digging them in, pulling him in to kiss on the temple. ]
I didn't say she'd be right to think it, did I?
[ The funny thing is, he did sort of try convincing himself for a while that Nick did flip some sort of switch in him-- he knows it isn't really true, mostly, but sometimes it helps get him through their filthiest, most debauched encounters -- to participate and let go and most of all, enjoy -- if he lets himself believe it.
Just a little bit.
With his other hand, Reggie palms Nick's groin through his pants, idly stroking pressure against it. ]
[ Yes and no, it's just... a different sort of lurid, maybe. Reggie smirks a bit, kissing Nick's neck and continuing to stroke him with an relaxed casualness, squeezing from time to time. ]
That one probably is your doing. [ He laughs a little too. ] Though it helps there isn't a whole lot else to do around here. If I could've gotten away with staying in bed all day with someone back home, a lotta people would probably never see me again.
[ Regge inhales slowly, closing his eyes and biting at the corner of his lip as he presses his face to Nick's neck, fingers working their way under his waistband to stroke Nick over his boxers now. He loves seeing Nick like this, affectionate but slowly unraveling under Reggie's touch, and he especially loves hearing the dirty propositions that can come out of his mouth.
The stroking continues in silence for a few moments, but then Reggie swallows, nodding. He's a little hard now, he can't help but notice. ]
Uh huh. [ He wets his lips. ] We can do that. What do those things even feel like, anyway?

Yes I am.

Reggie.
[His voice is soft, and he feels-
-strange. Unsettled. He doesn't like it.]
no subject
Ronnie doesn't know about you yet.
[ It's not the same thing, not quite, but he feels like now is the time to mention it. ]
She knows I'm seeing somebody, but I didn't know how to tell her either.

Does she want your contract?
no subject
No. We never even talked about that, she's contracted with Archie.
no subject
She can't have your contract. So we're clear.
She doesn't get to have you.
[Oh. Hi. Possessiveness.]

no subject
But he does it nonetheless.
He gets up, then.]
Satan, you make me crazy.
no subject
He tries tugging Nick back down onto him. ]
Hey. Where you goin'?
no subject
Do you want a drink?

[ Reggie's a little confused too, and unsure, because the tension that's settled between them again is both familiar by now and yet still persistently unsolvable; there's a lack of definition that makes moving completely past it an impossibility, at least for now, but Reggie isn't sure if there will ever be an answer. ]
I'll just take a beer if we have any. Or maybe a shot or two of something.
no subject
We're not going to solve anything until we solve our...relationship issues, are we?
[He asks with the innocence of someone who knows the answer already. He hands Reggie a beer.]
no subject
Then he looks down at his beer as he pulls the tab and cracks it open, exhaling slowly and shaking his head. ]
I dunno. Guess not. [ He takes a drink, his gaze staying down. ] Which issues are you talking about?
no subject
[He sits back down, wanted, and leans against Reggie, careful and sweet.]
no subject
With a tempered exhale, he rests his chin on Nick's shoulder. ]
Veronica's not even a threat-- she doesn't like, want me back or anything. I've told you that.

I know.

It's probably not possible, but he still wraps his arms around Nick firmly. ]
We'll figure something out.
no subject
Do you think so?
What do you think Veronica would say?
About you and me?
no subject
[ Reggie shakes his head. That's part of the problem, but certainly not all of it. ]

(Though he doesn't want Veronica thinking he's gay, either.) ]
no subject
[He snorts.]
No, that credit goes to me, too.
[He presses his mouth to Reggie's hand, and he gives him a bit of a wry grin.]
I didn't spend weeks getting you ready to deal with my dick to have the credit go to someone else.
no subject
I didn't say she'd be right to think it, did I?
[ The funny thing is, he did sort of try convincing himself for a while that Nick did flip some sort of switch in him-- he knows it isn't really true, mostly, but sometimes it helps get him through their filthiest, most debauched encounters -- to participate and let go and most of all, enjoy -- if he lets himself believe it.
Just a little bit.
With his other hand, Reggie palms Nick's groin through his pants, idly stroking pressure against it. ]
Was it really weeks?
no subject
I didn't want to freak you out.
[He laughs a little, and rocks up against his touch.]
You're as horny as a warlock.
[He is under some impression that mortals live less lurid sex lives than witches do.]
no subject
That one probably is your doing. [ He laughs a little too. ] Though it helps there isn't a whole lot else to do around here. If I could've gotten away with staying in bed all day with someone back home, a lotta people would probably never see me again.
[ Reggie nips at Nick's ear. ]
You didn't freak me out.
no subject
[He starts to nuzzle against him.]
Little mortal boy.
[He keeps nuzzling, rocking his hips against Reggie's hand, and he's groaning a little. A lot.]
Just get a plug and keep you full all day, tied up, and then just come home and fuck you until I'm done and ready.
no subject
The stroking continues in silence for a few moments, but then Reggie swallows, nodding. He's a little hard now, he can't help but notice. ]
