[ Reggie doesn't really want to talk about it, honestly, not while he's uneasy and paranoid and doesn't even know what's going on, doesn't know where Nick is or what could have happened to him, but--
He sighs, sitting heavily back against the couch. ]
I can't find my friend. And I dunno if like, maybe he's just really busy, or maybe something happened, or... [ He shakes his head. ] Cuz it's not like him to just disappear, you know?
[That's rough. As someone who disappeared because something bad did happen to him, Noah is acutely aware of worst case scenarios. Not that he's going to give voice to that. It's probably the last thing Reggie needs.]
Hopefully he'll be back soon?
Not knowing sucks. And waiting. If you want to talk about something else, get your mind off it...
[He trails off with a sympathetic shrug and slumps back into the couch as well.]
[ It's rough, yes, and there's really no positive way to spin it; either Nick has gone home -- actually home, like Reggie has heard can happen here -- or he could be somewhere being held like some kind of prisoner, or he could be injured or maybe dead in a ditch somewhere, or he could just... be avoiding Reggie.
Which isn't the worst possibility of that list, obviously, but that doesn't make it great. ]
Yeah. [ He wants to talk about something else. Reggie shrugs too, easy and apathetic. ] So what's new with you?
[If he had more of a life (ha) this wouldn't be a difficult question. But Noah doesn't... do very much? Outside of haunting certain individuals and, even if he wanted to talk about relationship developments, this is seriously not the time. He chews on a knuckle, trying to come up with something worth mentioning.]
There's this like... weird cartoon I've been watching? [That's it, that's all he's got.] We could see if it's on.
[ Watching cartoons isn't something Reggie's done in... hell, a while, maybe not even since he's been in Duplicity. TV-watching isn't really something he and Nick do (did) together, and even when Reggie opts to watch something on his phone it's usually porn, or a movie, or some popular binge-worthy series.
It takes Reggie a few minutes to dig up the remote, but then he sits back down and flips the TV on. ]
It's called [insert punny title] and I wouldn't say it's hot. I mean, it's not porn anyway.
[It has a very Rocko's Modern Life vibe so there is adult humor (with a Duplicity spin) but it's mostly just surreal. He shoots Reggie a sideways glance then and, like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, adds:]
But then again, I don't know what you're into, man.
Hah. [ Reggie raises his eyebrow, glancing at Noah wryly before he looks back at the TV. ] Forget I asked.
[ Whatever he's into certainly isn't this (into like that, anyway), but Reggie can admit there's a weird sort of charm to the show so far, even if it's not his usual style of humor. Definitely an easy, mindless watch, if nothing else, so he can't complain.
He sits back more, putting his feet up on the table. ]
So is this all you do around here for fun? Watch TV and teleport into people's living rooms?
This is an episode he's seen before, so he knows where all the especially funny bits are and he sneaks a look over at Reggie now and then for his reactions.]
Not exactly. [It's just that he mostly hangs out, doing what other people feel like doing.]
I live with some of my best friends, so- [He shrugs.] We kinda do whatever, I guess.

[If he comes to haunt Reggie on purpose, at least. He's not always thinking about it when he does it. Might want to get used to this, bro.]
Weird how?
