This really is dangerous. Reggie has an easy enough time attributing any temptation he's feeling to the beer (even if he knows he would still be tempted regardless), but it's harder for him to tell if Archie's thinking something similar, or-- well, just being Archie. Or maybe it's a bit of both.
Reggie laughs a bit himself when the bottle is pressed flat against his mouth, some beer spilling down his chin in the process when he moves; almost reflexively his hand moves to Archie's waist to steady him, except rather than simply catch his weight against his palm, or perhaps by the belt loop, Reggie's thumb hooks under the waistband of Archie's jeans instead. ]
